Beyond the Ballot | FAYLA KHAYRISSA RAHMADITA | TEDxYouth@SGIA

Politics is not considered to be anything that takes place outside of elections and debates, but it is present in many aspects of our lives. This talk aims to discuss how politics affects our daily lives, from the electricity running through the food we eat and the roads we drive on, while using Aristotle’s concept of “political animals” to discuss the cycle of political decisions and their effects. However, it is not until we ignore it that we allow bad cycles of decision-making and weakened democracies to continue. Fayla Khayrissa Rahmadita is an alumna of Sekolah Global Indo-Asia who completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. She is currently a student at Universitas Padjadjaran, majoring in International Relations.
