This talk explores how AI can augment human professionals, remove friction, and return insurance to its original purpose: protecting people when it matters most. Avinash Reddy Aitha is a Principal QA Engineer at State Compensation Insurance Fund, where he pioneers the application of Decision Intelligence in workers' compensation insurance. With expertise in Generative AI and Agentic AI systems, Avinash focuses on building transparent, accountable AI solutions that transform how insurance serves people. His work spans intelligent claims processing, real-time fraud detection, and predictive risk modeling creating systems that reduce processing times from weeks to hours while maintaining human oversight and ethical standards.
