Aloo Palak Pakoda | Palak Aloo Pakora Recipe | Aloo Palak Pakora Recipe | Palak Pakoda Recipe | Pakoda Recipe | Pakora Recipe | Palak Pakora Recipe | Aloo Palak Pakora | Crispy Pakora Recipe | Spice Eats Recipes Ingredients for Aloo Palak Pakoda: (Tsp-Teaspoon; Tbsp-Tablespoon) Palak (Spinach Leaves), thick chopped- 120 gms Potato with skin, thin strips- 1 medium potato (75 gms) Green Chillies, thick chopped- 3 nos Curry Leaves, chopped- 2 tbsp Besan (Gram Flour - 120 gms (little more than 1 US cup measure) Salt- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda (powder) - 2 pinches Water- 10 tbsp Refined Oil for deep frying Preparation: Wash and completely drain water from the Palak (spinach) leaves. You can pat dry it to remove water completely. Cut and remove the stems. Now make chop the palak leaves in 1 inch squares. Wash the potato and make thin longish strips with skin. Also chop the green chillies into big pieces and chop the curry leaves. Mix Besan (gram flour) in a bowl with salt, baking soda and water. Mix well to give a thick batter and set aside. Now take another bowl and add the chopped palak, potato slices, chopped green chillies and curry leaves. Add the Besan batter on top of that and give a mix. Process: Heat oil in a Kadai for deep frying. To make the Aloo Palak pakoda, make roundish pakoda shapes, making sure to take the potato slices too while forming each pakoda and dropping in hot oil. Drop them side by side to not crowd the Kadai/pan. Do not stir for 1 min and then flip and fry it uniformly on medium heat for around 5-6 mins. Fry till they are crisp and potato is brown. Remove and repeat for the next batch.
