Exercise Specialists Kevin and Terri with the Edmonton West Primary Care Network demonstrate a series of exercises for those with chronic low back pain. This program is intended for people with chronic non-specific, or mechanical low back pain. In this video, we start by warming up, and then we review exercises for 8 areas of the body surrounding the low back. We provide 2-3 different exercise variations for each area of the body to allow for variety in movements and varying levels of difficulty so you can choose the option that works best for you and your back. Start by warming up with us, watch the demonstration of the exercises, and then pause and try the exercise variation that is appropriate for you. We suggest starting with 1 set of ~5-10 repetitions of each exercise and progressing as tolerated over time to 1-3 sets of ~10 repetitions.
