Turning The Most Stunning Walnut Bowl - Twice Turned Double Feature - Copper Owl Woodturning

In this video, I turn a very wet piece of Eastern Black Walnut into a stunning bowl the most stable way I know. Twice turning. First the bowl is roughed out and packed in the shavings in a cardboard box to dry and distort. After a few months the roughed-out bowl is unpacked from the cardboard box and mounted back on the lathe for the second tuning. This method along with the wood being quarter sawn should produce a bowl that is true and stable with minimal distortion. This method also gives a great excuse for the video to be a double feature.
