Thank you ☺️Jesus ❤️you Ingredients 520g taro / yam 110g sugar ( You may reduce to 100g if you prefer it less sweet ) 100ml oil 3 cloves shallots ( sliced ) 200ml coconut milk pinch of salt 1 pandan leaf ( tied a knot ) ** I bought mine from the local supermarket weighing around 700g, but removing stem & skin, it's about 520g . ** You can add some water to coconut milk if you prefer a thinner milk ** Ginkgo nuts are usually used to serve with orh nee ** This paste can also be used as filling ** If you like it creamy , blend it after mashing up , do it before frying in the pan Orh nee is a traditional Teochew dessert, which is usually served as dessert at the Chinese banquet . Since I love taro , why not make it myself, and it's so much more economical as Orh Nee can be quite pricey and 1 taro can make a big serving of Orh nee which I will save some for my mochi filling for my next video, stay tune !
