Mix the dry yeast with warm milk and a spoon of sugar. Let it activate for 10–15 minutes. 2. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, melted butter, and yeast mixture. Knead until smooth. 3. Cover with a cloth and let rise in a warm place for 1.5–2 hours. 4. Braid the dough into a challah shape, place it on a baking tray, and brush with beaten egg. 5.
