When I first developed an autoimmune issue called #ChronicUrticaria the last thing I wanted was to be seen. I locked myself in my room and laid in bed for weeks on end waiting for flareups to subside. It impeded with my senior year in college and my work as a content creator. I felt so lost, confused, embarrassed, and betrayed by my body. It took a lot of trial and error, but in due time I was able to figure out my triggers and how to better manage my skin sensitivities. If you’re going through this or dealing with other health issues, I want you to know that you’re not alone. Many of us are fighting battles that nobody will ever see or that we aren’t ready to share. My hope is that sharing my journey will give others strength and the confidence that their circumstances have the potential to improve. Today, I’m sharing the 6 lifestyle changes I’ve made since developing Chronic Urticaria. I hope that sharing what works for me can give you some insight on changes you can potentially try to improve your circumstances!
