Ingredients Chicken - 1 kg Onion - 2 to 3 nos shallots - 6 to 7 nos Green chilli - 2 to 3 nos Ginger - 1 big Garlic - 6 to 7 nos Curry leaves - 3 to 4 sprigs Tomatoes - 2 nos Grated coconut - 1 cup Dry red chilli - 3 to 4 nos coriander powder - 1 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder - 2 tbsp Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp Garam masala - 1 1/2 tbsp Mustard seed - 1 tsp Oil - 2 to 3 tsp Method First we have to peel and wash the onion ,ginger ,garlic and green chilli. Then chopped the onion ,ginger ,garlic and green chilli ,set aside. Then chopped the cleaned tomatoes and set aside. Then grated the coconut and set aside. Take a pan add grated coconut and water . Squeezed them well with fingers and set aside. Drain and keep aside. Heat a pan add chopped ginger and garlic Then add green chilli and curry leaves saute them well. Add chopped shallots and saute them well for few minutes. Add coriander powder ,red chilli powder ,garam masala and turmeric powder saute them well till the raw smell completily gone. Then add chicken pieces and saute them well. Pour sufficent amount of water and combine them well. cover and cook them well. Remove the lid check wheather the chicken is well cooked or not . Pour coconut milk and mix them well. cook for few minutes and remove from fire and set aside. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seed ,let them cracked. Add dry red chilli and saute them well. Add shallots and fry them well. Then add curry leaves and fry them well. Remove from fire and pour the ingredients on the chicken curry pan . combine them well with chicken curry .
