If you enjoy cooking Pakistani food and are looking for recipes, videos of LIVE shows, totkas, and other food stories in both Urdu and English, subscribe to this Youtube channel or go to our website: https://www.masala.tv/ ----------------------------------------------- Malbari fish Ingredients: Fish ½ kg Tomato (grinded) 1 cup Red chili powder 2 tsp Salt 1 tsp Turmeric 1 tsp Ginger garlic 1 tbsp Tamarind juice ½ cup Coriander powder 1 tsp For ‘tarka’: Oil ½ cup Mustard seed 1 tsp Whole red chili 6 Curry leaves 6 Green chili 4 Coriander 2 tbsp Method: In a pot add the tomatoes, red chili powder, salt, turmeric, ginger, garlic, tamarind juice, coriander powder, and 1 glass of water and cook on low heat. When 1 cup of water remains, then add in the cut fish pieces. Then when it comes to a boil one or two times, switch the stove off. For the tarka, heat oil and add mustard seeds, whole red chilies, and curry leaves. Put over the fish. Lastly, garnish with green chilies and coriander and serve. ----------------------------------------------- Malbari Daal Ingredients: Green gram beans 2 cups Tomato 1 Onion 1 Turmeric 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Red chili 1 tsp Green chili 4 For ‘tarka’: Curry leaves 6 Garlic 4 Cumin 1 tsp Method: In the green gram beans, add tomato, onion, turmeric, salt, red chili and 4 glasses of water and cook on low flame. Once the beans cook, take the curry leaves, garlic and cumin in oil and put tarka. Lastly, put the crushed green chili and serve. ----------------------------------------------- Haldi zeera rice Ingredients: Basmati rice ½ kg Curry leaves 6 Turmeric 1 tsp Red chili powder 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Cumin 2 tsp Garlic paste 1 tbsp Oil 4 tbsp Coriander ½ bunch Method: Add cumin, salt, turmeric, in water and boil. Then add in the soaked rice. When it is three quarter done, sieve it. In another pot, heat oil and add in the garlic paste, red chili, and curry leaves. Now combine the mixture in the rice and temper for 10 minutes. Add in the coriander and serve.
