One Man Concrete Pour - Saved $$$$

To my surprise, ready mix concrete delivered by truck is cheaper than bagged concrete. The problem is, laying all of the concrete in place and finishing it is a lot of hard work and you have one chance to get it right. Stakes are high. Having poured a few slabs in the past I thought I would give it a try to pour small enough sections at a time to manage by myself. The ready mix trucks near me have front facing concrete chutes which allows the operator to have complete control over placement of the concrete. This was vital to me doing this work by myself. So if I'm being honest this was a two man pour. Couldn't have done it without the skills of the operator. Concrete mix is full air entrainment, micro-fibers, 3/4" aggregate with super plasticizer for flow characteristics. Very pleased with how it turned out and the bill I had to pay. Thanks for watching!
