Hike to Pyramid Lake, North Cascade Mountains | 4.2 miles, May 2023

Hi everybody! This is a great trail, though it's a bit steep, climbing 1,500' in 2.1 miles, to the small, but beautiful Pyramid Lake. For comparison, an average hiking trail will gain 500' per mile, this one gains 750' per mile. Last time Steve and I did this hike was in the winter with 3-4" of snow. This time we saw lots of forest trees and shrubs, a bit of wildlife and a few peek-a-boo views of the surrounding mountains. About half-way you come to a lovely section where you're up close with the creek. Thanks for watching! Please leave any questions or comments below!
