First Brightline 110mph Higher Speed Test Trains - October 21, 2022

On October 21, 2022 Brightline began its first test of operating its trains at 110mph in preparation for the expansion of its passenger rail service to Orlando in 2023. The trains operated over 11 miles of completed track between CP Rio in Jensen Beach and CP White City south of Fort Pierce near Midway Road. The tests began at 79mph and slowly increased to be running at 110mph by the end of the day. This was the first time a Brightline train has run faster than 79mph. Check Out My Social Media Pages!
