Pig Pie / Onion Bread Ingredients: FOR THE DOUGH: 2 Cups Bread Flour 3 Tbsp Granulated Sugar 1 Pinch Salt 1 Tsp Rapid Rise Instant Yeast 1 Cup Milk 2 Tbsp Melted Butter FOR THE FILLING: 1 1/2 Cup Bread Flour 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar 3/4 Cup Melted Butter Green Onion (Adjust according to your taste.) 2 Tbsp Water 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract Egg Wash: 1 egg yolk 1 Tsp Water Procedures: 1) For the dough. Mix all of the dry ingredients and wet ingredients and mix them well together. 2) On the flat surface, dust a good bit of flour and transfer the dough mixture and begin kneading for about 15 minutes. 3) When finish kneading transfer the dough back to the mixing bowl, cover and set aside. 4) Meanwhile, mix all the ingredients for the filling and set aside. 5) After making the filling. Take the dough out from the mixing bowl and begin kneading by flatten it all out. 6) Add the filling in. Fold both sides of the dough towards the center. 7) Flip it over, transfer it to a baking pan and poke it with a fork. 8) Brush it with egg wash. 9) Bake for 25 minutes @ 350. 10) Cool to room temperature and begin slicing.
