LEG 1 of the 2024 Signature Triple Crown, presented by Chantilly Air, was held out of Los Sueños Resort and Marina January 15-20, starting with the Ladies Only Tournament on Tuesday, January 16th. The 11 participating teams released 131 sails in one day and the 40 teams registered for the Signature Triple Crown went on to release 1,933 billfish, including 9 marlin and 1,924 sails in three days from Thursday through Saturday. Needless to say, the fishing started off the tournament season phenomenally. This year we celebrated 20 years of Billfish Bliss at Los Sueños and 10 years of the Signature Triple Crown. These tournaments are about more than competitions, winning, trophies, and money. The energy is intense, but compliments fly left and right, and at least for us, are the highlight of our year.
