Step-by-step process for making dahi vada:- ✅First, take moong dal and urad dal. Wash them properly and add enough water. Soak them overnight. ✅The next day, when the dals become soft, grind them in a grinder to make a slightly coarse paste. Add salt, cumin seeds, and a pinch of asafoetida (hing) to the batter. ✅Whisk the batter for about 10–15 minutes until it becomes light and fluffy. ✅Take a bowl of water and drop a small amount of batter into it. If the batter floats on the surface, it means the batter is ready. ✅Heat oil in a pan (kadhai). Take small portions of the batter and deep fry them until they become golden. ✅Remove the fried vadas and keep them aside. Take a pot of warm water and add a pinch of hing.
