Prince William stepped out without Kate Middleton for the funeral of Thomas Kingston. The 42-year-old was one of the several royals in attendance at the service in London on Tuesday. Thomas died suddenly last month at age 45. He was the husband of King Charles's second cousin Lady Gabriella. The king was not in attendance as he continues to step back from public outings amid his cancer diagnosis, but around 140 close friends and family gathered at the Chapel Royal in St. James' Palace, including William, and the Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and Kingston's family. Buckingham Palace announced Thomas' death on February 27. He was found dead at his parents’ residence in Cotswolds on February 25. Days later, the coroner confirmed that he died from a gunshot wound to the head.
