First Egg of the Season! 🥚 – Little Miami Conserv. Baker & Bette (2/15)

Exciting news from the beloved Baker & Bette - their first egg of the season has arrived! This video follows the anticipation of the day as the pair goes about their familiar routine. The nest sees some thoughtful preparation, while Baker proves once again what a devoted provider he is, delivering several impressive fish gifts to Bette as the big moment approaches. In the late afternoon, Bette lays the season’s first egg. Later on, as golden hour settles over the nest, she relaxes with her new arrival and makes a proud vocal declaration, clearly savoring the moment. Baker does stop by the nest, but Bette isn’t quite ready to share a peek just yet. No doubt the proud papa will have plenty of time to admire and help tend to his precious egg very soon.
