Daal Mutton: Daal Gosht: Ingredients: Here we will take 2 pressure cookers; one to boil Mutton and another to cook yellow lentil. 1. Tuvar daal (yellow lentil). 1 cup 2. Mutton. 500 gms 3. Ginger garlic paste. 1 tablespoonful 4. Green chillies paste. (4-5 green chillies + 1” ginger + 7-8 garlic cloves) 5. Garam masala powder 1 Tspoon 6. Quarter Tspoon turmeric powder 7. Salt to taste 8. Green fresh garlic for garnishing Method: 1. Clean & wash mutton properly 2. Wash yellow lentil (tuvar daal) 4-5 times and soak in water for 5-10 minutes 3. In one pressure cooker, take 2 cups of water and add mutton pieces. 4. When bubbles, cover the lid and blow 1 whistle on high flame and 4-5 whistles on medium flame. 5. Let the steam release by itself. 6. In another cooker, take 2 cups of water. 7. When boils, add tuvar daal (yellow lentil) 8. Cover the lid and blow 3 whistles on high flame and 3-4 whistles on medium flame. 9. Let the steam release by itself. 10. Open the lid of pressure cooker and blend daal with blender (Bosch) 11. Open the lid of 1st pressure cooker and check the mutton. 12. If it is not tender blow more whistle. 13. In our case mutton is tender. 14. Transfer Daal to mutton cooker. 15. Add ginger garlic paste and green chillies paste. 16. Add turmeric powder and salt and simmer for 5 minutes or until bubbles. 17. Add 1 Tspoon Garam masala powder. 18. Mix well 19.
