Classic Beef & Potato Skillet (Serves 4) Ingredients 1½ lb ground beef (80/20 works great) 5–6 medium potatoes, diced small (about 2½–3 lbs) 1 medium onion, diced 3 cloves garlic, minced 2 tbsp olive oil or butter 1½ tsp paprika 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste) ½ tsp black pepper Optional: 1 cup shredded cheddar or Colby-Jack cheese Fresh parsley or green onions for topping --- Instructions 1. Cook the potatoes Heat 1 tbsp oil/butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add diced potatoes, season lightly with salt and pepper. Cook 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and fork-tender. Remove potatoes to a plate. 2. Brown the beef Add remaining oil to the same skillet. Add ground beef and onion. Cook until beef is browned and onion is soft, 7–9 minutes. Drain excess grease if needed. 3. Season it up Stir in garlic, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook 1 minute until fragrant. 4. Bring it together Return potatoes to the skillet. Stir well and cook 5 minutes so flavors blend and edges crisp. 5. Optional cheesy finish Sprinkle cheese over the top, cover skillet for 2–3 minutes until melted. --- Serving Ideas Serve as-is for a filling one-pan meal Add a side salad or steamed veggies for balance Great with ketchup, hot sauce, or sour cream on the side
