Exploring The Dales Yorkshire - We Found A Beautiful Waterfall On Deepdale Lane

Our holiday cottage is situated on Deepdale Lane towards the cobbled village of Dent. Along the lane are many footpath signs so we decided to explore the lane to see what we could find. The waterfall was a great find and it wasn't swamped in people... we only met one other couple. After taking in the beauty of the falls, we ventured across the road to check out one of the footpaths. Although this started out well we soon realised that the path wasn't going to take us where we were hoping to go. We came to a dead end... well an end to the footpath at least. We could've possibly found a way through but with it not being open access land, we didn't want to upset any farmers! We weren't too disappointed though as the path did take us on an adventure with amazing views, (albeit being covered in sweat and midge bites!).
