Wild Camping the Fisherfield 6 - Summit Camping & New 3F Backpack

Wild camping and hiking the 'Fisherfield 6', also called the 'Fisherfield 5' due to the demotion of Beinn a' Chlaidheimh to a Corbett from a Munro. We parked at Corrie Hallie car park on the side of A382 which made the complete loop from the car park 43km with over 2500 metres of climbing. We a couple of hikers who told us that everyone else did the Fisherfield round anti-clockwise, but we decided to save the infamous bog til the last and complete the circuit clockwise. Day 1: Started at Corrie Hallie car park. Climbed up Beinn a' Chlaidheimh and camped at the summit with amazing views of An Teallach and Beinn Dearg Mor. 12km and 1100m gained Day 2: The big day. Climbed Sgurr Ban, Mullach Coire Mhic Fhearchair, Beinn Tarsuinn, A' Mhaighdean before the hairy scramble up Ruadh Stac Mor to complete the day. Camped near Lochan a' Bhraghad. 15km and 1300m gained Day 3: The walk back passing by Loch Beinn Dearg, through the bog and marsh to Shenavall bothy, before finishing the circuit back at Corrie Hallie car park. 15km and 350m gained 00:00 Day 1: Corrie Hallie to Beinn a' Chlaidheimh 05:07 Day 2: Beinn a' Chlaidheimh to Lochan a' Bhraghad 10:59 Day 3: Lochan a' Bhraghad to Corrie Hallie ___ This video and GPX is only a recording and report of my trip and is not to be used as a guide or route by others.
