Acharya Nidana Academy is created with an intention of spreading step by step approach of learning of Roga Nidana (Ayurveda diagnosis) including history taking, physical examination, predicting prognosis based on the descriptions available at the hand and Ayurveda textbooks. Proper understanding of physics, chemistry, biology and fundamentals of Ayurveda is essential for the proper understanding of diagnosis in Ayurveda. In this video, we are going to learn the mechanism of formation of Ama in the alimentary canal and its transport to intravascular compartment, intestitial compartment and intracellular compartment. This clearly helps us to distinguish the presence of Ama in the Koshtha (alimentary canal) and Shakha (intravascular, intestitial and intracellular compartments).
