Once again, the Buenos Aires racetrack was the stage to welcome the two beasts from León Power Test in what was the 1st round of Track Day Argentina for 2022. The novelty of this edition was the overhaul seen in the "Retirees' Falcon". The car was practically refurbished 100%, with evident work on the chassis, bodywork, roll cage, and suspension, achieving a look and performance similar to Mauricio's Chevy. As we are accustomed to seeing, the team's cars maintain their aesthetic originality although when it comes to performance, they are two authentic thoroughbreds. The Chevy Serie 2 ran for most of the day and once again became the fastest naturally aspirated car of the round. The Falcon, however, had a different fate as it only completed a few laps due to mechanical and sporting reasons. In the final free session, both cars took to the track together and gave the audience a memorable duel. Ford vs Chevrolet, Turismo Carretera in its purest form. As is widely known, during this last session, the Chevy had an accident approaching the confitería corner. Fortunately, the drivers walked away unharmed, and only a bit of bent metal was regrettable. Once again, León Power Test made headlines, and the audience recognized it with applause after the return to the pit lane. For the joy of many (and the disappointment of a few 😂), the Chevy will return looking better than ever in the upcoming rounds.
