First time at South circuit on the CBR and didn’t expect it to be so physically demanding. I was destroyed by the first session! I struggled to hit the markers and not unsettle the bike when transitioning. It was actually faster leaning the bike more rather than myself as it unsettled it less but then increased risk of a low slide. I slipped off the bike a few times and managed to scrape my boots quite often which was concerning. I lost the left rear on turn 7 and didn’t have the confidence to power through turn 10 as the rear would step out more than I wanted. It was also very difficult to slip it in fourth gear on the exit on 9 as I couldn’t get into position to drop down a gear before turn 11. 2nd gear was too twitchy from turn 2-8 so I left it in third. Front tyre felt awesome at 36 PSI hot, can’t believe it’s been 7 track days and it still feels good.
