Welcome to my channel The Taste Mystery! Today I am revealing the secret to the perfect Shadiyon Wali Chanay Ki Daal Chicken. This recipe has that rich, traditional catering flavor and the perfect "Tarka" look. It’s a must-try for any true foodie! 📝 Ingredients: • Chicken: 1 kg • Split Chickpeas (Chanay Ki Daal): 2 cups (Washed and boiled until tender) • Oil: 1.5 cups • Onion: 1 medium (Sliced) • Garlic Paste: 1 tbsp • Salt: 1 tbsp • Red Chilli Powder: 1 tbsp • Coriander Powder: 1 tsp • Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp • All Spices Powder (Garam Masala): 1 tsp • Ginger: 3 tbsp (Cube cut) • Green Chillies: 5 small • Mint Leaves: 1/2 bunch (Chopped) Quick Steps: 1. The Masala: In a pan, add oil and onions. Fry until the onions turn golden brown. 2. The Chicken: Add garlic paste and all dry spices (salt, red chilli, coriander, turmeric) with a splash of water. Cook for 2 minutes, then add the chicken and cook for 5 more minutes. 3. The Secret Tip: Now, separate all the oil (the Roghan) into a bowl and set it aside. 4. The Simmer: Add the boiled daal, garam masala, ginger, green chillies, and 2 cups of water. Cover and cook for about 20 minutes until the chicken is fully done. 5. The Finish: Remove the lid, add the fresh mint leaves and the separate oil we saved earlier.
