Apart from one Goole-bound and two Leeds-bound services a day, nearly everything that passes by is a freight train, and on a busy day there's quite a few heading to and from Drax Power Station, enough to merit re-signalling about ten years ago. The A19 towards Selby bypasses this village, but you can still expect to see a fair amount of traffic through this level crossing which was modernised in the early 2010s during re-signalling.
