PERCEIVE Talks EPISODE 11: Prototyping Caring Hybrid Experiences for Coloured Museum Collections Speakers: Federica Bonifazi, Manuele Veggi (Sapienza - CNR ISPC), Nynne Ryhl Olsson (MUNCH), moderated by Sofia Pescarin (CNR ISPC) The concept of care in Cultural Heritage is evolving from a specialized professional duty into a shared practice of citizenship. Building on research from the PERCEIVE prototype framework, this session explores how hybrid design can foster a "sense of care" by connecting visitors emotionally and intellectually to the risks faced by coloured collections. Through the "Echoes of Loss" and "Tiny Conservators" prototypes, heritage is presented not as a static relic, but as a fragile and irreplaceable resource that requires collective advocacy and engagement. The webinar demonstrates how making scientific processes visible and inviting visitors to "care" for lost polychromy can transform the museum visit.
