Sambar Recipe - Ingredients Small onions – handful Drumstick – 1, chopped Toor dal – cooked, 1 cup Tamarind water – squeezed out of lemon-sized portion of tamarind Salt to taste Grated coconut – 2 tbsp Corriander seeds – 2 tsp Channa dal – 1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds – ¼ tsp Dried red chillies – 7 Curry leaves – 1 sprig Asafoetida – ½ tsp Oil Mustard seeds – 1 tsp Fresh coriander – to garnish Deepa Venkat is a Tamil film and television actress!
