Try this simple recipe at home and enjoy delicious homemade Namkeen Seviya. 👉 Don’t forget to LIKE 👍 SHARE 📤 and SUBSCRIBE 🔔 for more easy recipes! 👩🍳 Recipe – Namkeen Seviya / Namkeen Vermicelli Pulao Ingredients: 1 cup vermicelli (seviya) 1 tbsp oil or ghee 1 tsp mustard seeds 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 small onion (finely chopped) 1 green chilli (chopped) ½ cup mixed vegetables (carrot, peas, beans – optional) ½ tsp turmeric powder ½ tsp red chilli powder Salt to taste 2 cups water Few curry leaves Fresh coriander for garnish Lemon juice (optional) Method: Dry roast vermicelli until light golden. Keep aside. Heat oil/ghee in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves. Add chopped onion and green chilli. Sauté till soft. Add vegetables and cook for 2 minutes. Add turmeric, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well. Add water and bring to a boil. Add roasted vermicelli, mix and cover. Cook on low flame till seviya is soft and water is absorbed. Garnish with coriander and add lemon juice.
