Praise God! Luke Ch 12: 35-59 Jesus is not playing! We are to be ready! And when He comes He wants us to be on the clock despite not knowing the hour or day. How exciting that the master promises to serve those who are ready and faithful stewards? This goes for everyone but to those who have been given much- please be ever more mindful. If you aren’t found faithful, if you have taken advantage of your station you will be torn in two. TORN IN TWO. Terrifying. And if you KNEW the truth and did not act, there will be severe punishment and if you didn’t know and committed sin, you will be punished. Hell does not sound fun. We need to get ourselves right. Jesus is distressed over His imminent passion. He warns that trust in Him will create division among even the most cherished relationships. We must learn to discern the times unlike those who knew the signs and missed them when Jesus was walking among them. Finally, don’t wait to settle your soul today. To wait and hope for a judgment in your favor is not the best course of action.
