Not THAT hooker! Canon is not that kind of place. The Hooker Cocktail is named after John Lee Hooker, the blues guitar legend. As you might imagine, the cocktail contains some Bourbon, some Scotch and some beer. Crank some blues and celebrate! Recipe: 1/2 oz egg white 1 oz Bourbon 1/2 oz Averna 1/4 oz Scotch (something peaty) 3 dashes Boker's Bitters (Bitter Truth Aromatic Bitters are a great substitute) 2 dashes Bitter Truth Chocolate Bitters: http://bit.ly/GXJPyd 3/4 oz fresh orange juice 1/4 oz simple syrup Malty Belgian Beer to top Instructions: Dry shake or use hand whipper to emulsify all ingredients except the beer. Add ice to the shaker and shake to cool and dilute. Strain into a chilled cocktail coupe. Top with beer and stir gently to incorporate.
