Crispy Golden Fried Chicken Drumsticks— Juicy inside, crackly spiced crust outside. So easy to make with @heerafoods-kinginqualityki5038 chicken fry mix. These fried chicken drumsticks are marinated in a tangy milk and spice blend that tenderizes the meat and locks in flavor. Coated in egg and seasoned fry mix, then fried to golden perfection, they come out irresistibly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside — with just the right amount of warmth from chilli and earthiness from turmeric. Perfect for family dinners, game nights, or when you just need real comfort food. Ingredients For the Marinade • 7–8 chicken drumsticks (skin on) • ½ tsp salt • ½ tsp turmeric powder • ½ tsp red chilli powder • 2 tbsp vinegar • 2 cups milk For Coating • 2 eggs, whisked • 1–1½ cups Heera Chicken Fry Mix • Oil for deep frying Method 1. In a large bowl, combine salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, vinegar, and milk. Mix well. Add the drumsticks and ensure they are fully submerged in the marinade. Cover and let marinate for at least 20 minutes (longer if possible for deeper flavor). The milk and vinegar work together to tenderize the chicken, while the spices infuse it with warmth and color. 2. Place the whisked eggs in one bowl and the Heera Chicken Fry Mix in another. Remove the drumsticks from the marinade and allow excess liquid to drip off. 3. Dip each drumstick into the egg, ensuring it is fully coated. Then roll it generously in the fry mix, pressing gently so the coating adheres well. For an extra thick, crunchy crust, you can double dip: egg → fry mix → egg → fry mix again. 4. Heat oil in a deep pan to medium heat (around 170–180°C). Carefully place the drumsticks into the hot oil without overcrowding the pan. Fry for about 12–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 75°C, and the juices should run clear. 5. Remove and drain on paper towels or a wire rack. Let them rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve hot with fries, coleslaw, garlic mayo, or your favorite dipping sauce. Why This Recipe Works • The milk + vinegar marinade tenderizes while keeping the chicken juicy. • Turmeric gives a subtle earthiness and beautiful golden hue. • The egg wash helps the fry mix cling perfectly for a crunchy crust. • Skin-on drumsticks mean maximum flavor and crispiness.
