Well hello friends. If you are here for the description then I thank you very much. Just want to let you know that I’m still alive and planning for a return to exploring. Life has just been crazy over the past two months but I have a three pack of Bowman’s Creek videos that I want to share. This is the first one and the shortest. In this video we are only a mile or so west of Noxen PA. The grade is able to followed quite nicely by using Stull rd. I drove this road until I came across this little bridge crossing. Immediately I saw the old railroad bridge to my right and had to check it out. Thanks to a wonderful source of information given to me by @patricksparks6631 I have been able to put together some of the pieces that make up this branch of the Lehigh Valley railroad. I believe that we are looking at stone work from the extension of the Wilkes-Barre and Harvey’s Lake railroad. This is getting close to where there grading met up with the Loyalsock railroad grading. Both of these railroads, along with possibly one more made up what would become the LV Bowman’s Creek branch. We will get into this more in the next video. Just a heads up. When I filmed this and the following two videos I had not yet received the information needed to figure out what was what. I will include as much information as I can in the description of the next two videos in this series. As always thank you for watching and your continued support. Filmed 8/31/25
