“Best Chicken Soup” 1 Tablespoon olive oil 6 cloves garlic, minced 1 onion, diced 2 large carrots, thinly sliced 2 ribs celery, chopped 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger 1 teaspoon ground turmeric 6 cups chicken broth 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary 1/2 teaspoon ground thyme 1 pound chicken breasts, cooked and chopped 1/2 teaspoon salt Freshly ground pepper 1 cup orzo pasta 2/3 cup frozen peas Place olive oil in the bottom of your soup pot.  Turn on medium heat so the oil will get hot. Once the oil is hot, add the onion, carrots, celery, and garlic. Sauté for a few minutes until the onion becomes translucent. Next, add the ginger and turmeric and sauté for another 30 seconds. Add chicken broth, rosemary, thyme, salt, pepper, and chicken. Stir to combine. Add the orzo pasta and peas .
