Delamere Forest Runner 2023: 10k TRAIL Race

A race day vlog of Delamere Forest Runner 2023. It is a trail race event with both a 10k and 5k race running simultaneously, and there were approx. 600 runners this year. I had no real set agenda for the race, with this being a warm-up race for Chester Half Marathon 2023 in May. I planned on running the 10k in around 45 mins to gauge where my fitness is at currently, as I am at the end of week 4 of my half marathon training block. This was my first trail race event and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The event was very relaxed and friendly and with trail races, everyone is a bit less bothered about times, and happy to enjoy the experience. I will be doing more trail races in the future! 00:00- Intro 01:34- Pre-Race 02:35- Race Footage 06:22- Post Race 08:21- Extra Footage 09:10- Cool Down/Analysis 11:29- Wrap Up It took forever for the results to come through, and I only received a results email the next day, so I had to search for the results to find out initially. That was probably the only negative of the day.
