At Ruhrpumpen, we are proud to power safety at one of the most important LNG export terminals in the United States. Located in southeast Texas with direct access to the Gulf of Mexico, this strategic project will deliver approximately 13.5 million metric tons of LNG annually, enough to supply energy to more than 27,000 homes each year. To support its fire protection infrastructure, Ruhrpumpen is delivering a fully preassembled ETL-certified pump house equipped with two UL/FM-certified horizontal split case pumps (model HSC 8x14x21E), each rated at 3,000 GPM, one electric-driven and the other powered by a high-performance diesel engine, as well as a CPP21 jockey pump rated at 60 GPM. This robust system includes a double-walled diesel tank with flame arresters and overfill protection with indication and alarm panel, a roof hatch for diesel engine and pump removal, full-length ice rakes, seismic and 190 MPH wind load resistance, integrated 5 kW unit heaters with thermostats, and an NFPA-13 compliant sprinkler system for Extra Hazard Group 2 occupancy. Engineered to the strictest UL, FM and ETL standards, it is built to perform, delivering reliability, safety and peace of mind in the most demanding environments.
