Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders 20-24 bacon strips 2 packages (24 rolls total) Hawaiian sweet rolls Sliced American cheese 2 pounds ground beef 1 cup chopped onion 1 can (14 1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes with garlic, drained 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper GLAZE: 1 cup butter 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce 2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard 2 Tablespoons sesame seeds Cut bacon strips into pieces and fry. Drain well. Set aside. Fry the ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is no longer pink and the onion is tender. Break up the beef into crumbles. Drain well then stir in the tomatoes, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook and stir until the mixture is combined, about 1 to 2 more minutes. Preheat the oven to 350°. Without separating the Hawaiian rolls, cut each package of rolls horizontally in half. Arrange the bottom halves in a greased baking pan. You can put these all in one large baking pan or into two 13 x 9“ baking pans. Cover the bottom of the rolls with a layer of sliced American cheese. Spoon the beef mixture evenly over the cheese, followed by the bacon. Top with another layer of sliced cheese and then replace the tops of the Hawaiian rolls. Press the rolls down to secure the sandwiches in the pan. Make the glaze by combining the butter, brown sugar, Worcestershire Sauce, and mustard in a pan on the stove. Bring to a simmer, making sure the butter has melted and the ingredients are well combined. Pour the glaze over the rolls; sprinkle with the sesame seeds. Bake, uncovered, until golden brown, and heated through. This may take 20 to 25 minutes, but be careful not to over bake and burn. CONTACT INFORMATION: Come Sit At My Table P.O. Box 1041 Mt.
