Would you like to make your own European dishes at home? Then you have come to the right place! In this episode of the “Taste of Europe”, Cyryl Kozaczewsk, Director of the Polish Office Taipei, and Sławomir Giletycz, Assistant Professor at National Central University, are going to show you how to make this sour and savory Polish delicacy: Pierogi (Polish dumplings). Pierogi can be served as a main course, but it also has sweet fruity flavour! Check the video now to learn how to make this multi-flavour dish. The filling: • 800g sauerkraut • 60g dried mushrooms (two handfuls) or fresh agaricus • 2 medium onions (300g) • 7 tbs oil • Spices and herbs (optional): a teaspoon of sugar, 3 small bay leaves, 4 grains of allspice, a flat teaspoon of pepper. The dough: • 500g of flour • 125ml of hot water The “Taste of Europe” is presented by the European Economic and Trade Office together with the EU Member States offices in Taiwan.
