Islamabad, 9th July 2024 Hi everyone! Welcome back to another VLOG on Talks with Sultan Temuri! Today, we're sharing our visit to Islamabad Model College for Girls F-7/4, where we attended the Summer Fiesta event organized by the Federal Ministry of Education and Professional Training. We were warmly received by the principal and staff, making the experience even more memorable. Stay tuned for more highlights from this amazing event! I'm Dr. Sultan Azam Temuri, Inspector General of Police (Retired), Former UN Police Commissioner, and the Founding Director & CEO of the International Governance and Sustainability Institute (IG-SI). Alongside me was Ms. Helena Iqbal Saeed, Additional Inspector General of Police (Retired), Former UN Police Commissioner, and Law Enforcement and Gender Advisor at IG-SI.We had the pleasure of attending the recent Summer Fiesta event organized by the Federal Ministry of Education and Professional Training at Islamabad Model College for Girls F-7/4. Our colleague, Esin Gulsen, a Former Turkish police officer and UN peacekeeper, now serving as Director of Operations at IG-SI, delivered an inspiring online message to the students. Her message focused on gender equality and women's empowerment.After the recitation of Holy Quran I delivered my speech Key Highlights: 1. Dr. Sultan Azam Temuri’s Address: o I shared insights on success principles, focusing on the challenges faced by Pakistan’s youth, which constitutes 64% of the 245 million population. o I discussed the limited access to high-quality education and skill development, which leads to high competition and unemployment, with only 6% of the youth being highly educated. o Addressing gender equality, I highlighted Pakistan's low ranking in the Global Gender Gap Index 2023 and emphasized the need to utilize the untapped potential of women to achieve SDG-5. o I encouraged students to pursue greatness through excellence, stepping out of comfort zones, and maintaining empowering beliefs. He urged them to convert challenges into opportunities and continuously improve themselves. 2. Ms. Helena Iqbal Saeed’s Address: o Ms. Helena Saeed shared her journey as the first lady officer in the Police Service of Pakistan, emphasizing self-discipline, hard work, and honesty. o She advised students to avoid shortcuts and corruption, stay away from drugs and crimes, and highlighted the importance of education in building confidence and freedom of thought. o Ms. Saeed called for a positive mindset, continuous learning, and a revival of nationalistic spirit, urging the youth to respect and love their country and follow Islamic values. Conclusion: The talks by me and Ms. Helena Saeed provided valuable guidance on achieving success through education, hard work, and integrity. we emphasized aligning personal goals with the greater good and encouraged the youth to strive for excellence. The Principal of IMCG F-7/4 highlighted the Summer Fiesta held from June 26 to July 10, 2024. The event, organized by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, included subjects such as Digital Art, Graphic Designing, Language courses, Breast Cancer Awareness, Mental and Social Wellbeing, and Financial Literacy, with 250 male and female students participating. A lively Q&A session followed the speeches, where students eagerly asked questions, and the panel provided insightful answers.• Certificates were distributed, and students were excited to get autographs from the guest speakers I expressed gratitude to Mr. Mohyddin Wani, Federal Secretary of Education & Professional Training, and Principal IMCG F-7/4, Dr. Saadia Aziz, for the opportunity to address the students. The Summer Fiesta at Islamabad Model College for Girls F-7/4 was an inspiring event, leaving students motivated to pursue their goals with renewed vigor and a commitment to excellence.
