Baking powder Pinch of salt Ingredients poppy filling ½ cup milk ¼ stick of butter 2 tbsp sugar ½ tsp lemon zest 1 cup poppyseeds Ingredients cheese filling 1 ½ sticks of butter 1 cup sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract ¼ cup instant vanilla pudding powder 3 eggs 2 ¼ cups creme fraiche ¾ cup sour cream 1 cup heavy cream Instructions Crust 1. heat oven to 375°F 2. place all ingredients for crust in a bowl and combine by hand 3. line springform with parchment paper and grease sides 4. press dough into pan with your hands until the bottom is evenly covered and pull up dough to 0.7 inch edges Instructions poppy filling 1. melt butter with milk, sugar and lemon zest in a pot 2. take off of heat and fold in poppyseeds and set aside for 10 min 3. spread poppyseed filling on crust in the springform evenly Instructions cheese filling 1. beat butter, sugar, vanilla extract, instant vanilla pudding and eggs until light and fluffy 2. mix in the dairy products until there ar no more clumps and pour on poppyseed filling into springform (attention: very liquid) 3. bake for one hour (note: every oven is different, so keep an eye on your cake. If you think the top is getting too dark, but the cake it still to liquid, cover top with tin foil and bake until end) 4. cake should still wobble when it comes out of the oven Show me your result on social media and tag @lillysgermanbakery and use the #lillysgermanbakery so that I can repost it :)
