Inputs: orange and red gear shafts. Output: blue shaft. The jade shaft is fixed to the blue shaft, forming a cross shape. The pink gears idly rotate on the jade axle. The yellow gear blocks idly rotate on the blue shaft. The tooth number of the yellow gears is Z2. The tooth number of the pink, orange and red gears is Z1. Ng = (No+Nr)/(Z2/Z1)/2 Ng: speed of the blue output shaft No: speed of the orange input gear shaft Nr: speed of the red input gear shaft The above formula is used when the two input shafts rotate in opposite directions. In this video Z2=32; Z1=16 so Ng = (No+Nr)/4 The video shows a case where the orange shaft rotates first then the red shaft.
