In an interview at the India Today Conclave Mumbai, MLA Rohit Pawar spoke about important political issues. He said he doesn’t regret getting angry at an official and would get “even angrier” if officials do wrong or deny justice to ordinary people. Pawar pushed for “developmental politics” in Maharashtra, focusing on progress rather than caste divisions. He defended being called a “nepo kid,” questioning why the term is used so broadly. On a controversy involving his uncle, Ajit Pawar, and a woman DSP, he admitted the officer wasn’t at fault and his uncle’s tone seemed aggressive. Rohit expressed loyalty to his grandfather, Sharad Pawar, saying his politics is driven by beliefs, not just family ties. He supported Maratha reservation and suggested Parliament find a way to exceed the 50% quota limit. He also claimed the BJP blocked Nitin Gadkari’s rise, a view he said many share. For a reunion with Ajit Pawar, he set a condition: his uncle must leave the BJP. Rohit emphasized his focus on Maharashtra and vowed to strongly oppose the current government. #rohitpawar #indiatodayconclavemumbai #maharashtrapolitics #pawarvspawar #sharadpawar #ajitpawar #nepotism #reservation #marathareservation #castepolitics #development #karjatjamkhed #indianyouthleader #mahavikasaghadi #politics #nitingadkari #bjp #ncp #indiaalliance #devendrafadnavis #rahulgandhi #indiatoday #politicalnews #indianpolitics #interview #elections #mumbai #indiatoday #conclave SUBSCRIBE to India Today Conclave so you don't miss any session and make sure to enable Push Notifications, so you'll never miss a new video.
