A big step in the right direction. This is Vertical Jump Training Vlog – Episode 17, a jump session mixed with volleyball — and the first time in a while I’ve been able to touch 9’8” again. This session was about testing where my jump is at, playing volleyball, and finishing with max-effort jumps. This video documents how I’m training to jump higher in volleyball as a shorter player, using jump sessions and real volleyball carryover. In this session, you’ll see: • A jump-focused warm-up • Touching 9’8” again for the first time in a while • Playing volleyball and feeling the carryover • Max-effort approach jumps, topping out around 10’0.5” with multiple 10’ touches • Tennis ball dunks on a 9’9” rim I’m not fully back to my peak yet, but sessions like this show that progress is coming back piece by piece.
