A woman who works at Tesla’s Gigafactory in Austin says the man accused of carrying out the deadly Sixth Street mass shooting previously assaulted her at work. According to a lawsuit filed by 65-year-old Lillian Mendoza Brady, the incident happened in December when she encountered another employee praying in a walkway. Her attorney says the man suddenly grabbed her and threw her to the ground. Brady says she reported the alleged assault to Tesla authorities, but claims it was difficult to obtain information about the suspect. The case was investigated by the Travis County Sheriff’s Office but later closed by exception after the suspect died during the Sixth Street mass shooting. Brady says she suffered injuries and missed six weeks of work. She is now seeking more than $1 million in damages, alleging Tesla failed to provide a safe workplace. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ KCWX-TV™ is your trusted home for live sports coverage in Central Texas, delivering Major League Baseball, WNBA basketball, HBCU football, and HBCU basketball to viewers across San Antonio, Austin, and Central Texas.
