For parts go to www.Importapart.com or email us at [email protected] Check out my wife's channel for more I Do Cars content and behind the scenes videos @TheCarWifeLife Every week I tear down another blown up, bad, or junk engines to figure out what happened, why it happened and what parts I can salvage from it. Here are a few of my favorites: 6.4L Ram 2500 Hemi Failure • 2015 Ram 2500 6.4L Hemi Engine Teardo... 5.9L Cummins Abused to death @368k miles • WORN OUT or ABUSED? 368,000 Mile 5.9L... 8.0L Magnum Ram V10 THE WORST ONE EVER • 8 LITERS OF DESTRUCTION! Dodge Ram V1... Audi 5.2L V10 HUGE failure • 8 LITERS OF DESTRUCTION! Dodge Ram V1... This weeks teardown is a 5.7L Hemi V8 from a 2007 Dodge Charger. This has 198k miles which for many domestic engines is considered good, but this engine didn't just "wear out". This engine was destroyed by a complete lack of proper maintenance and care, a sight we've seen time and time again on this channel. This could be one of the worst Hemi failures we've seen on the channel thus far, what do you think? Why am I doing this? I own and run Importapart, a full service auto dismantler and part of our model includes buying and tearing down blown up, bad and core engines. We salvage the good parts and recycle the rest, reducing the number of new parts needing production. As always I hope you really enjoyed this teardown. I love all of the comments, feedback and even the criticism.
