Baba Jateswar Temple, Keonjhar The place is surrounded by dense forests with beautiful waterfalls and various species of trees, which showcase the beauty of Mother Nature. About 10 km from Barbil & Joda, the Jateshwar Mahadev Temple is a place worth visiting. It is a Shiva temple where the Shiva Lingam is situated next to a waterfall in the lap of Mother Nature, which is surrounded by mountains from all sides. A continuous stream of water falls on it and it is kept in the open. This feature makes it different from other Shiva temples inside the temple. The place is located one and a half kilometers from a small village called Baltia. The interesting story of this temple takes us back 50 years. According to the first worshiper Shri Chandra Mohan Nayak, Lord Shiva appeared to him in a dream and described the location of this beautiful place to him.
