Create colourful firework-shaped sandwiches using chicken, cheese, fresh veg and Sunshine D Margarine. A fun, easy recipe perfect for kids’ parties, lunchboxes, and celebration snacks. 🎆🥪 Ingredients • 4 slices white bread • 4 slices brown bread • 1 Tbsp Sunshine D Original Margarine • 50g cooked chicken breast (made into chicken & mayo OR sliced) • 12 slices cucumber • 4 slices cheese (sandwich cheese slices) • 50g Red Leicester cheese (cheese block) • ½ green pepper or red pepper • Lettuce leaves • Thin tomato slices • 2 paper straws • Mini star cutters • 4 cm round cutter Step 1 – Spread the Bread • Use four slices of white bread and four slices of brown bread. • Generously spread each slice with Sunshine D Margarine to keep them soft and creamy. Step 2 – Build the Chicken & Veg Sandwich • Layer the filling onto the bread: • Cooked chicken breast • Six slices of cucumber • One slice of cheese • Lettuce and tomato • Close and lightly press the sandwich. Step 3 – Cut Out the Circles • Using a 4 cm round cutter, cut out four circles from each sandwich. • These small rounds will form the “firework” stacks. Step 4 – Build the Firework Stacks • Take two paper straws. • Thread four sandwich circles onto each straw, stacking them into small towers. Step 5 – Add the Cheese Rocket Tops • Cut two small triangles from a block of Red Leicester cheese. • Place one triangle on top of each straw to form the rocket tip. Step 6 – Add the Pepper Stars • Use a mini star cutter to cut two stars from a pepper. • Fix a star at the bottom of each straw to create the firework “burst.”
