Best 15 min Warm Up Before Handstand Training | Most Complete Follow Along Workout Free Customized Handstand Workout https://courses.coachbachmann.com/fre... Starting your workout with a good warm up can make all the difference to the success of your handstand training. The goal of a warm up is not just to increase body temperature but to actually get the muscles, joints and especially the mind ready for what is about to come. I've done this exact warm up or one similar to it before every single handstand workout throughout my entire athletic career. Handstand training is specific with precise requirements on the body. In this Follow Along Workout we start with key injury prevention exercises for the shoulders. This sequence has helped me (knocking on wood and countless of my fellow athletes and clients not to get injured. In the second section of this warm up we work on specific coordination, gymnastics strength based core stability exercises to prime you for your time upside down to come. Coming back to the shoulders we work through stretches and hands down the best scapula activation exercise to work on elevation and to get rid of the banana handstand. The last thing missing now are wrist stretches and activation before sending you off into your regular handstand training session. Make sure to check back over the next couple of days when I post Part 2 of this series when we will be working through wall handstand exercises to improve alignment, general form and control whilst working on progressions that will allow you to control your handstand and to leave the wall.
