So it wasn't long before a mill followed me home after the lathe, this is the story of all the misadventures that led up to it. From several other failed purchase attempts, to two mills on the same day, to a forklift getting stuck halfway, to moving project cars in the dead of night to a deal that I'll never forget. This whole thing was a real miracle that any of it ever happened at all and so I decided to tell the story, I hope you'll enjoy. The mill in question is an Induma 1-S, an Italian made Bridgeport clone that's peculiar in its location of the Y-axis leadscrew (off to the side and not down the middle). It's slightly stouter than similar Bridgeports and overall quite a good machine.
